Issue with Lack of Side Stand Interlock

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I love my new Victory Vision (see happenings), but I was shocked and dismayed to find that, with all of the terrific electronic gadetry, Victory did not include a side stand interlock.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I thought that the days of motorcyles that could be ridden away with the sidestand down were long gone.&nbsp; Apparently, I was wrong.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; This used to be a serious safety issue.&nbsp; If&nbsp; a rider pulls out with the sidestand down, the first left turn can result in a bad crash.&nbsp; There have been many accidents over the years, with many lawsuits and settlements.&nbsp; I wonder what Victory will respond with when someone is injured or killed becuase of the failure to take care of this inexpensive safety issue.<br /><br />&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I will follow up with the company on this oversight.&nbsp; The Victory Vision is otherwise such a wonderful motorcycle, that it seems a real shame for them to have missed this little item.<br /> 10 application/xml false accident crash death injury interlock motorcycle safety side stand Victory Vision Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.1.14) Gecko/20080404 Firefox/2.0.0.14 127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 mpadway 63.205.182.177 false true false false true 201650 false false true false false false true 106829 blog blogsite/MichaelPadway/web
