Long Winter About To End

    What a lot goes on while waiting for Spring.

    I'm thinking about new riding gear - maybe custom Vanson. By the way, the wait is four months, because Vanson can't get enough leather!.

    You vegetarians out there are making it tough for motorcyclists.

    I'm thinking about a big summer ride, and whether a new bike would be in order (I doubt it - too much effort into getting this one set up the way I like it). The new Victory seems like a great long distance ride, but I'd like it better if it were a lot lighter. How long can it be before Buell has a bagger version with the new engine? I hear rumors about Harley coming out with a bagger version of their V-Rod, and of course examples of possibilities have been seen here and about.

    Not much to do to get ready. Next step will be a thorough detailing, maybe play with the accessories, make sure the tires are spot on. Of course, look at new helmets.

    Spring is the best time of year for riders.
