| May 29, 2007 | | What does it take to get a catalogue? | Life must be good for Vanson leathers. I had a fleeting thought that this would be a good time to order a custom jacket. Went to the Vanson site, clicked to order a catalogue, gave charge card information, because -- get this -- they charge for a catalogue, and waited.
And waited. And waited.
And called. And got promises. And called again. And was told the catalogue had been shipped. And waited. And called and asked to speak to someone in charge. And was transferred back to the same person that previously assured me the catalogue had been shipped. This time, she did not assure me a catalogue had been shipped, but again promised to send one.
As of today, still no catalogue.
If you aren't happy with someone in the beginning, what are the chances you will be happy with them in the end?
One can only hope their customer service is better than their catalogue treatment.
Certainly if you charge for your catalogue, you need to pay some attention to sending it out.
