All motorcyclists have to be sympathetic to Governor Schwartzenegger, a long time good friend of motorycle riders, and a fellow enthusiast himself. I don't want to make a big deal of this while the Governor is still healing. Of all of us, he probably has the most reasons not to wear a full face helmet. Still, it is worth pointing out that, had he been wearing a full face helmet, the Governor would have 15 less stitches. I know all the arguments about helmets, freedom, visibility, and so forth, but truly, once you have decided to wear a helmet (as California law requires), why not protect your jaw and teeth?
