| November 22, 2005 | | Easy way to make a living | Once again I found myself working, working, working. This consisted of going to a Harley dealer to look at a softtail that had been in an accident. Since the bike was in wine country, I was forced to take my wife. In turn, this meant that we both had to have lunch at a great restaurant with terrific food in an awesome setting. After lunch, it was time to go to the dealer to examine the bike. Because the service manager was out, it meant I had to cruise the dealer's accessories and gear, and check out the new bikes. That tough task completed, I looked over the damage, took some photos, and ended up standing in the parking lot in the dark talking to the service manager about bikes, riders, racing, and trading motorcycle stories. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it. I never thought I would find a job where I could get paid for doing what I like to do. Amazing. | | |
